Blarney O’Zunkel is a novelty folk pop band consisting of former high school bandmates Erik Melchers and John Ott, both hailing from the greater Chicago area. With personal songwriting from Erik and accompanying keys and trumpet parts from John, the songs touch on the both the sincere and the absurd. Blarney O’Zunkel aims to bring a new sound to Portland.

Bob Sterry is a voice over artist, narrator, writer, very occasional actor, singer and humorist. Originally trained in the UK as research analytical chemist he has no fear of complex words. Bob has narrated for Audible, appeared in short films, documentaries and sings in his own cabaret shows, ‘The Book of Bob” and ‘A Satirical Cocktail’. His collection of short stories, poetry and vignettes, ‘The Bob Sterry School of Burglary’ was published in 2018. He was, through a series of totally unforeseen events, the President of the Oregon Poetry Association for 2023 - 2024, and Chair of the Clackamas County Arts Alliance Literary Arts Committee from 2022 – 2023. He is passionate about cycling, cooking, language and literature.
